Manchester United have submitted an updated squad to UEFA for this season’s Europa League, ahead of the competition resuming this month with a Round of 32 tie against Saint-Etienne.
Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay have both been removed from the pool of players in light of their transfers to Everton and Lyon in January. Young goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is also no longer involved because of his loan move to Steve Bruce's Championship side Aston Villa.
Recent first-team debutant Joel Pereira is one of two players who have been added to the squad, along with former Germany international Bastian Schweinsteiger.
