It occurred to me today, for the first time ever, that I don't feel secure as an American overseas. I've been overseas for a while and am going to visit my husband in Sudan. And it hit me that if something happened to me in Sudan, this administration would more than likely provoke the situation rather than to resolve it, just to make a point. And then I got to thinking that with Comey on board, how can people in the states be safe? It'd be so easy to ignore or subvert threats so that a point could be made about terrorists.
