Since Trump got elected, it gets worse every day. Every single subreddit is affected, even the non-politics related communities. It fucking sucks. I do like Trump, maybe that's why, and I try to keep my Trump-posting to The_Donald, but it's much more than that.

I've been on Reddit since I was in grade 10, now I'm a 24 year old graduate in the workforce. It was great in high school for dumb memes like f7u12, and as I progressed as a person, individual smaller subreddits were awesome. Most of them are BETTER than any other dedicated website for that particular niche, because there is a much bigger base to draw from. I like Hockey, I could go to r/hockey for hockey stuff. I wanted to learn some card tricks, head on over to r/cardistry and see what's what. When I was learning bass, r/bass had more resources for that than I could handle.

Now? Comment sections in unrelated topics turn quickly to a flamewar. Everything is politics. People go through your post history in unrelated subreddits to try and discredit you. Every sub has constant top spots held by something related to Trump/Anti-Trump in some way or another. The amount of moderators that rule with a partisan but iron fist is out of control. The powermods and admins have turned this place from a website I liked to show my friends, to a political battleground.

Fuck Reddit.
