U.S. makes sanctions exceptions for some transactions with Russian intelligence agency

WASHINGTON The U.S. Treasury Department said it will allow companies to do some transactions with Russia's Security Service (FSB), despite cyber-sanctions put in place by former President Barack Obama.

U.S. intelligence agencies accused the FSB of involvement in hacking of Democratic organizations during the 2016 presidential election.
