MAN
OUT
“Something is happening, but you don’t know what it is.” - Bob Dylan
American men today face huge, scaled-up challenges and anxieties like never before - socially, financially, professionally, and personally.
Are you male and feel that things are not quite going according to plan? Maybe you bought the ticket, but the train jumped the tracks and now your life doesn’t look much like the American dream. You aren't alone. Millions of men, from almost every background, feel the same.
Hard to get a good job, live well, have a relationship, see your kids? Are you gaming, using hookup apps, booze or drugs? Like many Americans, do you think “the system” is rigged?

Ballot Box
Too often you turn on cable media behemoth, some airbag is throwing out glib terms like “freeloader,” “whiner,” “lazy.” Really? That’s the best they can do?
ManOUT is about doing better! We’re looking for more than a few men willing to tell us how it really is — your experiences, opinions, how you see it.
Your answers can be anonymous, unless you want to connect with other men. What you tells us is partly research for a book, but it’s also about building a community that gets it. You could be 20, 45, or 64, married or single, working or not, or of any race or ethnicity. All you have to be is a man.
