Why even have a voting system, and most importantly, why would how much you can post depend on how much you fit in? So much for free speech and "no censorship."

MH101, Spamalek, bots. All easily throttled by the filter. And it only takes like a week of participation, even just reposting cat pics, to get out of that quota.

I think the limit exists for all new users anyways. Yes, unfortunately, you will have to stick to neutral topics until you build a little buffer.
You'd be surprised, though. I make comments in support of trans people without a negative response. It just requires a lot of diplomacy and care with language (ironically, a form of self-censorship).
