Knowing that he is incredibly thin skinned, wouldn't the public be able to push the notion that Trump is useless and that it's actually President Pence/Bannon pulling the strings and Trump can't actually do anything himself? I could see a scenario where he'd get so angry he'd try to fire whoever was taking his spotlight.
