About this project
The main goal is to obtain one set of high quality images of the moon with 2017's technologies.
This project will be solely developed by supporters who will use and employ their expertise and technologies that will be used on the project. By building a floating device carrying a set of telescopes and digital cameras, smartphones and computers powered by a series of continuous energy generators, there will be an uninterrupted power supply to provide continuous connections and feed. This craft will be sent up into the sky, while the main telescope will be aimed at the moon and the other telescopes and cameras will be aimed at the sun.
Side project: Sun footage (along with proper solar filter) will be pointed at the horizon to capture behavior of the sun along with the moon imagery project. There will be an available section to house other setups that could use the technologies in an effort to perform related observations for research and development.
By achieving a much higher altitude than ground level we will able to tap into a new layer of observation. It will be accessible to the public while being able to capture closer video footage and still images thousands of miles closer to the moon.The device can start capturing images and videos as soon as is launched. This will ensure that the footage captured at several angles and distances and will also allow for the best array and stacking of images.The geostationary orbit that will be used will have a zigzag travel pattern. The overall weight of the craft will be less than 100 pounds.
Initially, this imaging setup was going to be launched at an undisclosed location to avoid sabotage but as of right now, Guatemala, Central America has been selected to be the release point as it is one of the highest altitudes levels in America where we will have no restrictions. Clone-sets of this device could also be produced to increase the observations and compare footage.
The Moon orbits the earth every 27 days or so. Launch date is January 2018. Highly possible is the 12th as we could observe a full moon. Depending on how long the device is able to orbit the earth, we would like for the device to stay afloat until January 31st as it will be the next full Lunar eclipse.

Risks and challenges
The progress of this project will be well documented and reviewed for future development. If the fund goal is surpassed, subsequent "clone-sets" will be built to increase the outcome of the project.
This project is being published and hosted on kickstarter. Other financial venues will be used to fund, purchase and configure the technologies such as paypal, google wallet, apple pay, samsung pay, square, amazon, ebay etc.
