U/ILikeBigAZ reposts a graphic comparing two ways of getting shot, ignores the bigger picture that the graphic illustrates more people killed by buses per year than killed with "assault weapons." Hey, if one comparison is valid, all are. (np.reddit.com)

Also, the post current has 40 upvotes and 5 downvotes (Literally, 89% upvoted and 11% downvoted), and they have declared it a "brigaded post." I don't think that's how brigades work.

Oh u/Icc0ld, it's a shame you're just not sharp enough to realize that some of us don't care to refute the title of the post, because some of us believe that gun violence is a bigger concern than Islamic terror.

We same people just want statistically based gun control, and gun control targeting "assault weapons" absolutely isn't. It's a shame you can't come to that logical conclusion with us.

Barrel shrouds and pistol grips aren't that statistically risky. Even assuming that AWs are "big boy toys" and nothing more, when stacked up against other "big boy toys" like motorcycles, GA aircraft, and other "toys," AWs are ironically the safer bet in raw numbers of people dying involving their use.

But, again, statistics aren't your boys' strong suit.
