I really didn't know where to post this, and I'm sorry if I sound triggered or BTFO or whatever, but I'm trying to stand up for the principal of the matter here.
J.K. Rowling, in an ad hominem reply to some Trump supporter (not me but irrelevant anyway) chose to negatively connote the idea of (implicitly male) virginity. This perpetuates the idea that being a virgin is some sort of thing to be ashamed of, especially more so because of her stature in the celebrity world. Her words here are seen by hundreds of thousands and in turn set a sort of standard in the female mentality that should not be approved of. The only way I imagine females can easily see what I mean is by imagining if somebody like Stephen King were to slut shame a female because she was tweeting pro-Hillary things.
She is too old, and culturally speaking, much too powerful to be permitted to tweet such careless, insensitive things.
