Lately I have been trying to not dive too deeply into the headlines. I have enough stress in my life. With all of schmucky the clowns actions this past week can someone please explain the context of

1) Why is 1984 selling like crazy? 2) Why is Bannon being referred to as the "president". I understand how imbecilic the appointment is.

Just looking for the cliffs notes.

Kellyanne Conway justified the press secretary's lies about the size of the inauguration crowd, that Trump told him to tell the press, by saying they're just 'alternative facts'.

2) Why is Bannon being referred to as the "president"?
