OMFG

FWIW, I think the removal of the Secretary of Energy from the list is an unintentional error. He's a statutory member of NSC.
-
@pwnallthethings I think it was intentionally designed to humiliate Rick Perry. -
@scottjshapiro Or to humiliate the administration, when someone points out they can't actually exclude him bc of the National Security Act -
@pwnallthethings I wonder if they even know what the Dept of Energy does (it was news, after all, to Rick Perry). -
.
@scottjshapiro MEMORANDUM FOR .... SUBJECT: OOPS Perry can also attend NSC/PC meetings. [signed Donald J Trump] cc The Executive Clerk - さらに表示

@pwnallthethings Where's the Vice President? -
@blakedotfr in section E of memo, says POTUS And VPOTUS may attend all meetings. Just not on graphic above.

@pwnallthethings Incredible. No Energy Secretary ever? -
@_sinphi@pwnallthethings to be fair, do you really think Perry would be adding much? -
@benjamin_neely@pwnallthethings No, but nukes? -
@_sinphi@pwnallthethings Right, I’m just not sure if I’d feel more or less safe with Rick Perry there. -
@benjamin_neely@pwnallthethings DOE does arms inspections as well as maintaining the arsenal. Infrastructure is critical. Info you need... -
@_sinphi@pwnallthethings Yeah, snark aside, not having him there is nuts. -
@benjamin_neely@pwnallthethings all good man.

@pwnallthethings DNI and Chair of Joint Chiefs are only situationally invited to national security meetings... There's simply no rationale. -
@greg9799@pwnallthethings And that worked out real well. -
@TurkanaDK@pwnallthethings ok, but this looks to me like cut and paste laziness from last Republican + "add steve." Avoid overreach. -
@greg9799@pwnallthethings Certainly adding Bannon disturbing enough on its own, but no DNI and no Joint Chiefs is a huge hole in expertise.
