I don't necessarily think right now there is anything to worry about, but definitely within the next 8-10 years. My plan is to buy and live in a sailboat, which gives me the option to bail if things get too ducked up.

I've always wanted to buy some landed and do the whole homesteading thing, but with the current political and social climate, I think it would be a major mistake to get tied down like that.

This country is in for a rough future and I think it would behoove us all to be prepared for it.

Yeah being tied down is my biggest thing. I'm just looking for anything that someone else might see as the "whelp this can't be good for me here anymore" angle about it.

1 day 1 witnessed a male butterfly going his own way.

After mounting 2 female butterflies in rapid succession, he would not relinquish any of the pollen he had gathered.

I saw him a week later again in my garden. This time he mounted 5 in rapid succession.

The females were getting more desperate to acquire his resources, but could not understand that maybe they should instead acquire and preserve their own pollen
