There are many more examples of league winners, having small but effective squads. I'm not a fan of having a "second" elevens, neither is mourinho btw. You don't need a whole reserve team of top players to challenge for the league, hence why we've just sold Memphis and Morgan.

My point stands, it's klopps fault for picking a shite selection, this results is a whole different story to the losses against Swansea and Southampton which are more indicative of major deficiencies in the Liverpool team.

The assessment of a 'weakened side' is not really anything to do with winning trophies or having winners on your team. It's about fielding your strongest XI, if you don't do that, the side is weakened. You could argue about how weak they were all day but a lot of teams would be weak if they had 1 or 2 of their strongest XI missing (though you still expect to win). But if half the team is not there, then that is pretty seriously weakened. And if you combine that with Klopp's shitty tactics, that's what you get.
