A good friend of mine got married a few years back. They have a 2 year old now.

He's a fun guy but irresponsible. Buys a lot of video games, comic books, and other junk he never uses. Likes weed a bit too much. Low paying temp jobs.

His wife is more responsible. Higher paying job, no weed, etc. She gets frustrated with his weed smoking and spending habits. So far things are working, but as we all know women will gradually get more discontent with everything. He's the more attractive one in the relationship, but that only goes so far.

So yeah. I'm pretty cynical about the long term viability of this relationship. I don't say anything of course. Too late to change his mind now.
