Q. When should I use the report function?
A. Please report posts that break the rules of the forum and fit into the specific categories listed on the report button. We're currently considering re-implementing a free text box. Until this is decided, please don't just press any old button. Contact me, or somebody with a green name.
Q. Can I become a moderator?
A. We recruit only when we identify a gap in our coverage. We will make a separate thread announcing this. The selection process usually takes between 2 weeks and 2 months. If you would like to stand out as a candidate, you could produce original content and contribute in a positive manner.
Q. Will Camp Facepunch be coming back now that Hezzy is back?
A. It is a possibility. Camp FP historically happened in June / July so check back around then.
Q. Why isn't Tudd banned yet?
A. He posts legitimate content. Having a differing opinion doesn't mean that he should be banned.
Q. Do you guys know if garry is enacting garry's birthday this year?
A. It's random! Only the g-man himself knows.
Q. Will the old sections come back?
A. There are no plans for this at the moment. Please feel free to discuss this in the thread if you feel passionate about it.
Q. Do moderators have a list of people who are ban on sight?
A. Yes. It's very secret.

In the run up to the election nearly all of his posts were being reported and as far as I could see, there was nothing wrong with them. It just seemed people disagreed with him and reported him for "trolling".
I haven't checked the reports for a few days so I couldn't say about recent reports.
I just have a very keen interest in Facepunch

Would be nice to have a Lifestyle sub forum again or even a bigger push for more content in GMF too but that's just a user issue.

Can posts where a user is banned have a separate set of ratings for the ban? Mainly agree/disagree to allow people to express whether they think the ban was just. If not, it could reside in the 'Show Events' pane instead.

Can Trump be filtered or give him his own section/twitter bot? Maybe a politics section that is separate from Sensationalist Headlines? SH has had 20 threads on him for the past year, even more so since he won the election. SH used to be where you posted jackasses making the news and making dumb puns about it but now that the president is king jackass, SH has turned into a liberal saltmine/Trump circlejerk.

Don't be so quick to say that. I have seen mods unban or commute the duration after several people protested in subsequent posts. Not to mention the person that got banned can sometimes persuade the mod to see otherwise too.
