This sub is for:

1. The horrible things that the capitalist system forces people to do in order to survive within it.
2. Zesty memes, videos and GIFs that critique the social, moral and ideological decay of western capitalist culture.
3. The larger trend of corporate immorality and the increasing commodification and marketing of things that should not be commodified or marketed (such as social justice movements like the Starbucks 'race together' or Gay Pride).
4. Mocking the general hypocrisy and irrationality of Late Capitalism as it accelerates the process of digging its own grave.

Remember:

  • Brigading from other subs, harassment, personal attacks on fellow users, bigotry, ableism, intolerance and hate speech are all bannable offenses.
  • We do allow links to threads and comments on Reddit as long as they are relevant to the content guidelines and follow the rules. Use np links or your post will be deleted.
  • Do not post NSFL Content, it will be removed.
  • Mods are getting stricter with content quality. Shit content that does not fit the content criteria (like posts about Basic Income) will now be removed.

Philosophy:

This subreddit has its roots in broad-based anti-capitalist thought, with an underlying Marxist tendency that is steeped in intersectionalist Critical Theory.
When it comes to proposed alternatives to Capitalism, it is the general consensus of this subreddit that the contradiction between Capital and Labour must be eliminated; the working class should own and control the means of production.

You seem to love the mods of The_Donald - why don't you go back there and talk with them? Impressive that someone who isn't a fascist spends so much time on that sub without being banned by their thought police.

This is exactly what is wrong with people. How can you understand somebody when you won't even listen to what they have to say? The last few days I've been frequenting /r/The_Donald and /r/AskTrumpSupporters in order to understand them better. If you look at my posts you'd understand that I starkly disagree with what I see as a rather fascist president.
It is actually kind of weird that over there someone can disagree and not get banned, but in this sub, that guy got banned for "victim blaming" for being against violence. Am I the only one who sees how ironic this is?

It's one thing to disagree, it's another to come to the defense of a person instigating black genocide and the creation of a european ethnostate in America.

Maybe he deserved it, but violence only breeds more violence. If you look at any conservative or Trump-related subreddit you'll see that many of these people are extremely mad right now. They see this punch as hypocritical, unnecessary violence, and as representing the behavior of everyone on the left-side of the political spectrum.
So I guess we got to think about what we want. Do we want to take out our emotions on one man and create a bigger divide between two very polarized sides, or do we want to make people on the other side understand us and why we feel the way we do. I'd opt for the latter.

The only language the fascist understands is violence. He aims to use the agreed-upon social conventions of nonviolence to subvert the very system, by calling for "peaceful ethnic cleaning" the way Spencer does - simply propaganda aimed at the racist and mentally ill, spurring them to commit crimes in the name of fascists.

If the other side is actual fucking Nazis, then yes - I want two sides, and I want that side to be bashed and bloodied. Nobody is calling for violence against Mitt Romney Republicans, Larry the Cable Guy Republicans, even "Liberals murder babies" Republicans. We're accepting violence towards fascists and Neo-Nazis. If the rest of the GOP wants to align themselves with the Nazis, that's their moral failing.

Haha. Good one! You write that as if nobody else on this sub or Reddit has never tried to disagree on T_D. You can't piss in my ear and tell me it's raining, especially when I've had an account banned by T_D for a comment I wrote in r/politics.
