Rules

  1. Offensive slurs, used in any context, that are also used to demean a person based on their membership to an oppressed group such as race, nationality, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability are strictly prohibited. Posts that contain creepy dudebro vibes or posts which abjectly fetishize comrades, women, or children will also be removed and the poster banned. If you're not sure, ask before you post!
  2. Malicious name-calling and insulting other communists is prohibited.
  3. Taking sides against the motherland is strictly prohibited.
  4. Advocating, sympathizing with, or otherwise holding the view of any fascist tendency is strictly prohibited.
  5. Only links to subreddits included under the 'Allies of the Motherland' list are allowed and must use np. links. Linking to any other subreddit is prohibited.
  6. Apologia for the 'culture' (read: bigotry) of any 4chan-style boards, or encouraging the use of such, will be met with a swift ban.
  7. No linking to or from SRD, meta, or brigade subs. Do not link to any subreddit that you do not have express permission to do so. Evidence of vote-brigading, trolling, or encouraging either will be addressed punitively.

        Forgive me if I'm wrong but I don't think the internet nazis adpoted pepe as their official symbol. The MSM did that for them. They didn't nullify its other iterations either because in circles who do not care about the msm's opinion, it's still a popular meme (eg black twitter still uses it though not as much, /r9k/ and wizardchan and other "loser" forums still use it, and I'm sure a few other places too, all for the original non-nazi purpose).

        What is the point to even bringing Pepe back? The argument is turning into "well akshully the swastika has been around for hundreds of years before the Nazis..." We all know why they're using the swastika, they own it now. Likewise with Pepe. This is just revisionism and we should not allow this to continue.

        You bring up a good point about "meme magic." Pepe is kind of a symbol of this. I thought the original Pepe was a chill dude. Now Pepe, like his appropriators, is an ugly Nazi loser full of impotent rage.
        Revisionism is always bad, as revising Pepe's Nazi hijacking would "soften" his association with the alt-right. The most high-profile Nazi in America was about to explain how the Pepe pin on his lapel was a symbol for his movement before he got decked.
