Our criticisms will stay comradely and internal to the movement.
I don't think that the short term gains of working with Marxist-Leninists are worth discrediting ourselves by refusing to criticize all forms of state tyranny.
I consider opposing capitalist governments and staying silent about the atrocities of socialist governments to be an obvious double standard. Such an incoherent stance will likely scare many wavering individuals away from becoming anarchists, and justifiably so.
We should try to keep a dialog with MLs going for the sake of converting them, and we shouldn't set out to undermine any positive actions they take. But in my opinion we ought to acknowledge that all state socialism leads inevitably to tyranny, not just Stalinism. That way we can distance ourselves from the completely deserved toxic reputation MLs have.

It warms the cockles of my heart to see the red fascist authoritarian entryist meme that is "Ieftist unity" being so thoroughly shut the fuck down in this thread.
It makes me feel like this sub is really improving.
If leninists want leftist unity then stop being authoritarians and you'll have it.

Absolutely not. The authoritarians are no less our enemy than the fascists. It may be that fascism is our enemy now, but it would be short-sighted and foolish to stand beside the enemies of freedom. Any power they gain will be used again our ends, and any association with them will make us look compromised at best or in fact compromise us at worst.

I'm afraid that at least one recurring divide will be hard to overcome. That I'd define as "socialistic identity politics vs anarcho-individualism".
Hard to work with, even around, people who treat you like a social category, labeling you accordingly with your skin complexion, age, gender, dressing ethics...
We can't become persons where we are socially-constrained to be impersons.
Also the whole idea of unity sounds like one aspect fascism to me. Also widely advocated by Trump and Bush in their rhetoric.

Unity pledges are a common form of manipulation. To avoid hypocrisy between action and words somebody who has taken one of these pledges must continually tailor their beliefs to remain categorically similar to the construct that has been pledged to. Leaders commonly use this to get people to comply with orders that they wouldn't normally agree with. It is used in pretty much every military, and in my opinion is at the heart of how many state atrocities are committed.
In short, tankies be like, "Shhh, let us take over."
