About childlessness: i was acquainted years ago with an ultrasound technician. She said in her experience women who are infertile or unable to have children are often so embittered their souls just turn black. She said they’re often the biggest bitches you’ll ever meet. I imagine women who are fertile but “never get around ” to having kids are much the same.
