Those who've watched them extensively, how similar or different are Angel Gomes and Andreas Pereira? (self.reddevils)

Do both of them play in a similar position? I am a big fan of Pereira, based on the few videos I've seen of him, and would hate to see him leave us permanently. I was really hoping to see him get games under LVG but that unfortunately never happened.

But if both of them play in the same position, then I suppose United would stick w/ Gomes right, since he seems to have a higher upside and is English?
