Movies are pirated like crazy, you'd think that would be the place to put Denuvo.

This just proves Denuvo and DRM have nothing to do with piracy. It's all about finding ways to make paying customers have to keep rebuying the same stuff they already had.

I think the word "prove," much like the word "objectively," should probably just be removed from the lexicon at this point.

Technically movies have a lot of anti-piracy methods just the same. BluRays are encrypted. Streams like Amazon and Netflix are very aggressive in taking priority/HDCP to ensure they have a connection directly to your monitor with no screen capture software or devices tapping into the signal.

Just so-happens that game files are a lot more elaborate and require a bit more effort to prevent copying than movies.

Denuvo has never interfered with my gaming experience, sooo....Can't really be upset at something that has passively sat back and done nothing to harm me. In fact, the DRM on Amazon's streams has f***ed around more than anything Denuvo's done; If anything goes wrong and the stream thinks it isn't secure, it'll drop down and lock to standard definition and look like s*** without warning. Pain in the ass that is.

Funny cause it's broken instantly. These days you can watch game of thrones faster than it airs on TV. If it Airs in the East, the West will see it before central does lol.

Effort that actually works slightly

DRM usually works for a little while. But it's true purpose is to break at a set time, to force you to buy a remaster or something.

Amazons streams? s*** man just get The Grand Tour the same way everyone else does lol. Who bothers with Amazon?
