In this video, I explain a different way (than my "single-sided" ninja star that you can find HERE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IzUXJ...) to make a Ninja Star out of paper (I use printer paper, but you may use origami if you have). This ninja star is interlocked on both sides, giving it a "double-sided" appearance. Please note, I use TWO sheets of paper in this tutorial ONLY because it is EASIER this way for beginners. When I make this usually, I will only use ONE sheet of printer paper!
The star is made by forming two pieces which are mirror images of each other. These pieces are then interlocked into one another to create the ninja star.
The "super shuriken" or Ninja Star Frisbee, is another model I used to make (I made it up myself, although I'm sure I wasn't the first) This, however, is made using the single-sided Ninja Stars, so be sure to watch that tutorial also!

I find this way too hard since the paper tends to be really stiff and at the end were it instructs to push the corners in the pockets seemed to rip the paper in effort to open them.

He explains it very clearly and he repeats his instructions. If you have trouble, you should rewind. I was able to do this since I was 9.

Great, just great. I ripped my ninja star when I was right at the end. I was like..LITTERALLY already finished. I was putting the fold in the little pocket. And that was the last pocket. Yay. Just great. Yay.

You need to do it properly. I made about 6, 5 with printer paper and 1 with origami paper. You need to take your time making them.
