Right - as in it's wrong to kill a baby

 

There is a part of the human condition that is very hard to quantify. How we know what is right. This is why people turn to religion, spirituality, ideology, etc... looking for guidance or justification for their moral compass.

I used to be very anti-religion. I still don't subscribe to any but I've softened on it. At it's core, it is a search for understanding what's right. And, certain religious words don't bother me as much because I see them as placeholder words for something we don't understand yet. Like dark matter... we can't quantify it but we know it's there so we have to call it something.
