An election is when the people of a country vote and the person who gets the most votes wins. The fact that some other institution can overrule an election does not change what an election is.

Consent of the governed is not optional in a free country, and anyone spamming comments with petulant pedantry about procedures insisting that Trumpler is our legitimate President is simply trying to divide us, distract us, and legitimize the unelected Traitor.
