Rant time!
Have just came back from the Pharmacy (drugstore) as I have a toothache like fuck. Where I live it is legal to buy codeine over the counter without any prescription just like you would with paracetamol/asprin and I have taken them before and they really helped.
Went to the counter and asked this woman in her late 50s which one didn't have caffeine in too as I wanted to get to sleep.
I then proceeded to get lectured about not abusing them to just get to sleep. Told her that is not what I mean't but she didn't seem to listen. When asked if I'd taken them before (standard question they ask) I told her I had the non caffeine one about a month ago for the same issue and it really helped.
I then got a lecture about taking too many of them...yes yes I understand they are not to be abused, I know, no longer than 3 days, stfu you stupid cashier lady and give me my fucking legally sanctioned pain relief medication so I can stop my fucking tooth from hurting! I'm a 44 year old grown fucking adult, what are you my mother? JESUS H CHRIST!
I really wish I could have said that to her but as usual in gynoworld you just grit your teeth, smile and walk away.
