Ok so the blocks will take longer to mine if I understand correctly? This will probably increase the price as well correct?

No, difficulty is adjusted every two weeks or so to ensure blocks are found around every 10 minutes. If difficulty rose, it's because added hashing power was causing blocks to be found faster than 10 minutes on average. After this adjustment it should go back to 10 minutes (unless hashing power keeps outpacing difficulty adjustments)

The difficulty increase adjusted the time it takes to mine blocks back to 10 mins. Prior to the increase blocks were being mined faster than they should have. As for price, it should not affect it.
