The huge problem I have is the Trump outright lies to our faces, says only he is telling the truth, anything that does not confirm what he says as the truth is "clearly lying" and "fake news", he has said and done things that flat out put his credibility into direct question, and he has his own people repeating his lies and even defending them.
It is like he is trying to condition America to believe him when he tells the really big lies, that could break the country and even the war, and he will stand there telling everyone its a good thing he did this actually and universally terrible thing, and the worst part is enough people will buy it that he will do it again as things get worse and worse, degenerating into an "Elysium" like world. It will probably include robot soldiers and deranged cyborg supermen.
But what may be worse is that Trump has the media questioning if calling him on his BS is what they should be doing or not.
Look, if he lies, prove it and ram it in his or his serrogate's faces until they break down and cry, then tell them, "if you don't want us beating with 'the truth stick', then stop lying."
There are times when I think America really has reached "peak stupid".
Bad weather, people have jobs, terroristic threats.... lots of reasons many people did not come that day. I also understand that at least one image was taken a 8am before many people were even there.
You know how people who try to deny the obvious proven truth laid before them react? They simultaneously try to downtone the importance of the proven fact and then try to discredit it. Just like you. I'm going to go with one of the most reputable news organization in the world (bbc) over the man that calls everything that paints him in a negative light as "phony". To suggest that Trump is more honest than any major news organization is just wrong.
