He really seems to believe that he can coast through the next four (in his mind) years just giving a variation of his campaign speeches. When he addressed not just the nation, but the world, in his Inaugural Address and rambled on about "winning" and "making America great again" and "forgotten no more", it was obvious that no one but the rubes were buying it. And then, he goes in front of a room of human lie detectors in the CIA and lies his ass off, making more false claims and false promises. He honestly expected to get thunderous applause from the agents in attendance and even brought along his own peanut gallery to encourage them.
So my question is, what happens when he has to speak to another world leader? What happens when he has to speak in front of the UN? They won't give two shits about "bringing back jobs" and the "crime-infested ghettos" of America.
Political historians will be scratching their heads until the end of time trying to figure out how he even made it to the nomination of the Republican party.
