I just don't have it in me to try and teach those who self-identify as "allies" but really aren't. You annoy the hell out of me & I'm tired.

If you jumped into the Mentions of a marginalized woman yesterday and called her "divisive," about almost anything, you're not an ally.

If you read the pain & concern of women of color & got offended because you felt she was "stereotyping" you, a stranger, you're not an ally.

If you call yourself an ally because... you believe we're all equal or whatever, but you haven't spoken up or stood up, you're not an ally.

If you're ready to do the work but you're STILL looking for women of color to show you how, when the internet is free, you're not an ally.

If you thought wearing a Safety Pin made sense though it still meant a marginalized person had to find & seek YOU out, you're not an ally.

If you marched yesterday but don't have a plan formulating of how to lift up marginalized women's voices & actions, you're not an ally.
