I'm in my early 30'ies. Single, and enjoying my life of hobbies, traveling and exercise.

Last night I was out with a buddy, his wife and some of her female friends. Some of these friends are single mothers, in their late 20'ies and early 30'ies.

Safe to say, it didn't take long before one of them figured out I was older than she thought - resulting in a "....and you don't have any kids???? Whyyyyyy".

She then asked how I felt about girls with other guys' kids - a question I avoided answering directly with a "I don't know. Never been with a mother"

She backed off, and from there it didn't take long before a hand from one of the other single mothers was on my knee. She got a hold of my cell number, and today I get a text with "I really want to see you again" and heart emoticons.

We barely even spoke.

Post wall single mothers, aiming high. If I was ever to find a woman, why on earth would I go for a 30-something woman with kids filling up her schedule, when I could easily find a 22 year old student, 3 clicks higher on the 1-10 scale?

What do I gather from this? Those women are desperate. No or simple education. Part time job or welfare. Kids. Crazy coke-ex. Living in the country side with no financial ability to move into the urban areas where jobs are available. Baggage, baggage, baggage. They need someone to carry that baggage, and pay for their new iPhone. Not me. I'll rather stay alone, and buy a new flatscreen TV for myself, thank you very much.
