Lol I can't be doing your legwork, sorry. There's studies about it literally all over the internet.
"Many people are saying."
I am speaking from experience as well, my village which has been conducting jallikattu since time immemorial, treats farm animals a hundred times more shittier than jallikattu bulls. I'd much much prefer being a jallikattu bull than a normal bull in a farm, or even worse, in a corporatized farm factory.
Oh, so you were just trying to defend your village's sadist tradition. That's fine then; no hard feelings. It's called Stockholm syndrome, and it's not necessarily irreparable.
It is moronic to eat tasty nutritious slaughtered animals, despite being able to afford a little less tasty yet equally nutritious vegetarian food
Not little. Whole different realm. If you think it's only a little, you haven't had well-made non-veg food. Hit me up if you're ever in CA and I'll make you some delicious pork.
Oh that's because, to quote you, "the sadists won. Evil often triumphs. That's just the way life works."
Nope. This is not a new or transient phenomenon, unlike these jallikattu protests. 0/10 on turning my words against me, again. Keep trying though.
Until about a decade back when money was not involved to the degree it is now, there wasn't any torture. A bit of suffering and pain for a few hours maybe, but nothing too gruesome. Hence the plea for stringent regulations, not an outright ban
Idk about what went on a decade ago, but even if what you say is true, that is wholly irrelevant in moving forward; once money finds its way into a sport, the people involved will never let it go.
