Sean Spicer‘s debut as White House Press Secretary was devoted to attacking the media, and the Twitterverse was hardly impressed.

Spicer went on a major tirade in the Briefing Room on Saturday where he slammed reporters and accused them of misrepresenting the size of President Trump‘s inauguration crowd. This comes after the media picked up on how Trump’s attendance numbers fell short to the inauguration crowds of his predecessors.

In response to the presser, many media figures and observers posted their thoughts online, and a great deal of which were exceedingly negative:
