Pogba and Valencia had a strong game (self.reddevils)

Amidst all the chances created at Stoke I thought Pogba and Valencia had a strong game today. Defensively sound and offensively assertive.

Any thoughts?

From what i saw Valencia was solid as usual but Pog's was pretty quiet until the later stages of the 2nd half, wasn't his best game

Agree. I think Pogba got a lot of stick today but he was actually pretty decent and it was a toss up between him and Valencia for our best player.

Valencia for me, Pogba still has the annoying edge where he tries too much, but he needs to keep trying and failing to get even better. I don't mind his Hollywood shots but sometimes he tries to fend off 2 players at once and gets tackled, its slightly annoying to say the least

Tbh I didn't see pogba doing much of his trickbox during the entire game. He was very effective transitioning our defense into attack with those forward runs and bringing other players ahead of him into the game.
