          I'd say he only really missed the Rashford push. Shawcross' handball might have been worth a shout, but the other one is never a penalty. Ball hit his trailing arm which wasn't in an unnatural position.

          Main complaint would be how Adam somehow escaped any yellow after the number of fouls he had

                      I'm not even THAT upset, to be honest.

                      Frustrating match. Our finishing was poor, and that own goal was absolutely inexcusable. But we were without a doubt the better team, and dominated for the majority of the game. Rashford was a much-needed spark, Mkhi was incredible, Clattenburg was shit, and up until the very last minute I was still at the edge of my seat, confident that we would somehow put two in the net to put them away. It didn't work out this time, but even SAF lost games like this. I love watching this United squad, and top 4 is still very much within our grasp.

                      If anybody here thought we were going to run the table for the remainder of the season, they were deluding themselves. We hadn't lost since early November, our pace was unsustainable. These things happen. Take a breath, have a few drinks, go to bed, move on. Nobody goes undefeated forever. We will improve our finishing. Other top 4 teams will drop points. We're a damn good football team. Relax. We're fine.

                      Typical Mata. Failed to track back quick enough and gave Pitters the space in the box. Own goal might be just unlucky but the failure to track back is just a flashback to the same scenario as the Chelsea defeat. Then missed a sitter in front of goal.

                      Other than that, typical United. Liverpool lose at home to formerly 20th place Swansea and there will be points dropped between ManCity and Tottenham later, and United fail to capitalize once again. An own goal and dreadful passing throughout the match. Every time United tried to "attack" they looked slow and complacent, giving Stoke plenty of time to drop the entire team back and absorb. Why was it so hard to score? Well, if you allow a team to get all 11 players back behind the ball, it's going to be difficult to score. Even when Rashford and Lingard came on, there still wasn't any pace in the attack to catch Stoke on the back foot. The players look like they're still nursing a hangover from the night before the Liverpool match.

Besides the OG, and the miss, his link up play was quite poor and there wasn't nearly enough creativity from him in the final third. 2 or 3 times the ball was ready to be played but he wasn't in the right position for it. I feel like we were really missing a Martial to come on late in the game, but Rashford, Lingard and Rooney all really had a hand in the last part of the game

                      Glad Rooney got his goal and we didn't get a loss, but we need to be doing far better than we are. We aren't playing bad, but we aren't playing good.

                      Our players constantly go missing in games and it seems to be few and far between moments players leave their mark on the game then go missing in the games following. Very little consistency overall.

                      The only thing consistent with our games is making opposition keepers look world class and having atrocious refereeing, though the latter seams to be a league wide elephant on the pitch.

                      I can't even enjoy the Rooney record breaker. Draw or loss this feels like a massive dropping of points.
