There has recently been an alarming trend of parents allowing their children to transition as children, including taking hormones that will cause permanent changes to their young bodies- which is dangerous.

that's actually really super rare! like, i've actually never heard of someone taking hormones before puberty. most people suggest puberty blockers, which just put off puberty until they either decide to go further on hormones or stop taking them and go through puberty to live as their assigned gender. i also like how her source for blockers being dangerous is a vlog with someone's opinions on hormones, which is a different thing.

Children have a special kind of innocence that we are in danger of corrupting by introducing adult concepts like sexuality at far too young an age.

yeah, kids are way too young to understand gender! that's why we shouldn't give them gendered toys, clothes, or paint everything that they might accidentally touch pink or blue.

Think back to your own childhood; at what point do you recall starting to think of whether you were attracted to boys or girls? Did anyone talk to you about which one you should be attracted to, or start explaining homosexuality or other atypical kinds of relationships to you? I would imagine that it never happened unless you had an unhealthy childhood.

i mean, when i was a kid, the only people telling me who i should be attracted to were people telling me i should be straight. sign of an unhealthy childhood right there! i was introduced to the concept of homosexuality fairly early, because one of my aunts was gay and she brought her partner to christmas dinner. i was fine. it wasn't unhealthy at all in the slightest.

We've had a noticeable uptick in the number of transgender children in the past decade-ish - is this as a result of feminist mothers pushing their children to be different/unique, or some sort of weird Munchausen-by-proxy syndrome where they want their child to be persecuted in the ways that they only perceived that they were?

or could it be that we're in a place where the kids have vocabulary for what people have been feeling for centuries before now? wait no that's not it, it's the evil fake-boy-aborting feminists!
