VIDEO: Corey Lewandowski Tries, Fails to Join Trump Campaign Staff at Inauguration
Well, this is embarrassing.
Remember Corey Lewandowski? You know, the campaign manager that Donald Trump fired to make room for Kellyanne Conway? Well, he did not have the best Inauguration Day. Alex Gangitano, a reporter for Roll Call, happened to be around Lewandowski with other journalists and noticed that the former campaign manager was having difficulty getting into the inauguration. Oh, and she caught part of his frantic phone call on video.

Gangitano reported Lewandowski’s side of his phone conversation went like this:
Please have somebody bring me that ticket. I just can’t get past. I’m literally standing at the– I can see, like, the members of what is probably the Cabinet. I can see the people walking onto, like, in the camera shot. I’m standing right outside the Rotunda on the Senate side, I can see the procession.
When Capitol Police came by and asked Lewandowski if he was “staff,” he responded that “I’m Mr. Trump’s campaign manager.” Not “I was” or “former campaign manager,” but “I’m Mr. Trump’s campaign manager.” Welp.
