As part of an in-depth interview for the February edition of Inside United magazine, Phil Jones described eight of his fellow Manchester United defenders in a quickfire style. The in-form centre-back offered a unique insight, as you can see in the video above and text below...
Chris Smalling: "Strong, aggressive, quick and someone who reads the game well."
Marcos Rojo: "Feisty! Again, aggressive and a good passer with his left foot."
Eric Bailly: "Another strong player, quick, explosive and good in the air."
Daley Blind: "Calm, composed, a great left foot and reads the game well."
Luke Shaw: "Super quick, super strong, technically very good and he can put in some good crosses when he gets forward."
Matteo Darmian: "Deceptively quick, he can get up and down the flank all day long, his stamina levels are very good. He also links the play up well with little one-twos."
Antonio Valencia: "There's just one word for Antonio - machine! The guy is a machine."
Tim Fosu-Mensah: "A good young player and another who is quick and good with both feet. He's someone that is improving all the time and he'll be a good player for this club."
