About this project
CAPBOOM is an opener, which opens beverages with an impressive boom! It is a patent pending product for everyone who loves carbonated beverages and want to have fun.
The first bottle opener was patented by Alfred Louis Bernardin in 1893. It was the opener, which was permanently attached to the table top. After 123 years since those events we have created the first opener that shoots during opening a bottle;-)
How it works?
CAPBOOM is the world's first opener that shoots caps in the air with a big momentum and brilliant sound. Just place the bottle in a special hole opener, then hit that cap flew at a speed of about 60mph(100 km/h) at a distance up to 33 feet(10 meters). The sound of the shot heard in the video is authentic and is in no way improved.
You no longer have to wait for the New Year or the occasional champagne to make a big boom. There are many, different bottle openers, but ours is the only one that shots!

Our story
CAPBOOM is small garage company founded by Adam Tumiński. The 29-year-old innovator came up with this idea when he and his friends drank beer in the park. He noticed how much fun gives people opening bottle using a cigarette lighter and special technique to make cap fly-off with boom. It's impressive, but doing leverage in the hands requires strength and technique, and yet shot is not always successful. Adam decided to create an opener that will not have such problems. After a year of work on different versions, the prototype was created. The world's first opener that allows to open bottle with a boom easily and shot with cap!
Who can use CAPBOOM?
CAPBOOM is the perfect gadget to impress friends at home party or event. Shooting bottle opener will suprise everyone while going out. It's unusual gift idea, which surely will be a surprise. It is also an excellent advertising medium for beer and other carbonated beverages producers, pubs/bars, breweries and companies outside of the beverage industry.

Materials and colors
Opener is made of stainless steel and plastic housing. CAPBOOM is available in 8 different color schemes. We offer also special editons with wooden and aluminium housing. There's also fluorescent version that glows in the dark. The gadget is designed to fit and work with every bottle, even twist-off caps.

Funding
We need your support to cover expensive forms, metal components, few colors and start mass production. Raised funds we will also spent on CAPBOOM packaging and employment of a person to help.
Risks and challenges
CAPBOOM is not a prototype or project on which work has not been completed.It is ready, tested bottle opener that really works and shoots. All we need is money to start mass production with our proven partners. So there is no danger that the product will not work and look as described in the campaign. Backers who will suport us on Kickstarter and order a CAPBOOM will certainly receive it.
