One thing I've noticed with Mourinho is how well he's managed out of form/favor players. So I'd thought I'd compile a list of mini-revivals we've seen so far this season:
Rooney - benched when everyone was calling for his head, then came back as the mighty bearded Rooney
Fellaini - was completely flamed after giving up the late pk, Mou said some things about him to the press and he's been a great sub for us lately
Jones - pretty much written off for being injury prone, but has been looking like the Phil we all love and has gone on his longest uninjured streak in ages
Rojo - was terrible at LB, but has been a beast with Jones when called upon to play CB
Martial - looked lost at the beginning of the season, sat for awhile, and is starting to look like last year's Martial again
Mhki - Mou learned from his mistake of giving him the start against City and slowly working him back into the team has done wonders for him. He's looking like the stud he was at Dortmund
Schweinsteiger - not sure how much of the credit for Bastien fighting for his place can be given to Mou, but we can say that Mou gave him a second chance
These are the main one's I can think of, but its nice to see how well Mou has managed the individuals on this team, and that he's willing to admit and learn from his own mistakes.
