Phil Jones' best game for United? (self.reddevils)

Hi guys. I'm working on a little article/project about Phil Jones and I was wondering if you lot could help me out. While I'm definitely a big fan of our number four, I'm having a real hard time thinking of games where he's done brilliantly himself.

Do you have any particular games which you rate among Phil Jones' best? Personally, I really liked his performance in the away game against Real Madrid, where he was integral to locking down Ronaldo. But yeah, any other games come to mind?

I seem to remember him playing CDM against Real Madrid and doing a very good job of marking Ronaldo out of the game (even though he scored)

Yeah, that's the one I mentioned in my OP. Definitely a very strong performance from him.

He scored because he jumped over Evra. Wasn't Jones' fault.

I thought it was his performance v City @ home where we lost 1-2 [2013/14 season] he scored a header/shoulder that cannoned off Kompany into the net. I thought he was immense.

I also remember him v Spurs when he outpaced Bale when Bale had a couple of yards headstart.

Good player, just needs to keep his head down and do what he's doing atm.

Nah that was the 2012/13 season, we had the league wrapped up. His header was from an RVP shot that was already going in and if it hadn't hit Kompanys huge head, he would have missed. He also allowed Aguero to dummy past him to score the winner. I wouldn't class that as a good performance at all. In general we seemed to play at a lower intensity in that match
