Great job? He continuously gave bitcoin the middle finger for a platform that still has no use cases. I wouldn't be surprised if the dislike the BTC community shows towards coinbase is due to his (and Brian's) poor leadership decisions.

I still can't understand how anyone would think it is a good idea to attack bitcoin while trying to establish itself in the industry.

Fred Ehrsam directly compares himself to the likes of Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Reid Hoffman and Ken Howery. The levels of hubris and self-delusion in this statement are rather high.
