This is a very unique vintage race car by Chuck Beck. It is titled as 1959 Lister SVO The purpose when this recreation was constructed was to run Scca autocross. It has been proven at over 150 mph on the race track. It is a re-creation of a 1959 Lister built in Cambridge England using a small bock Chevy as per period use.
This engine has been race built to 450 horse and 450 torque. You could easily get another 100 horsepower if you wanted to continue with further modifications. The steering wheel is removable for ease of access. The car has correct fuel cell and all safety equipment required for vintage racing. The car is very fast and is very reasonable to maintain. It has a Borg Warner Super T-10 4 speed transmission. Unlike most of the Lister recreations this car was built using Corvette C4 suspension in all 4 corners so it has independent front and rear suspension unlike the solid rear axle of most recreations. It drives superbly and like a race car of its caliber should. I have receipts for almost $140k in the build of the car.
Everything has been done to a high standard of build.
Here is your chance to own a vintage race car far more unique than a Shelby Cobra and drives it substantially better as well.
