This is a very nice Chrysler Airflow C-17 4 door sedan. These cars are becoming rare as the design didn't sell well back in the 30's. Most cars were crushed during the war effort for metal. This was the last year of production. Not many made.
Plus this has 15,570 actual miles. In # 1 condition this car is worth $64,000 and they will only be going up in value. I am listing the car at a reasonable price to give that lucky buyer some room to do any additional work to bring it into #1 condition.
These cars were just listed as classics by the Classic Car Club of American .
The car sports a new interior and seat belts( not original to the car) It has the rare optioned Banjo steering wheel and has the radio tuner head and speaker. The radio , which sat behind the drivers side glove box, is missing. The previous owner had the body off the chassis and the motor and drive train were rebuilt by a professional airflow expert. Body was painted ( not a great job but acceptable) and placed back onto the drive-train.
Title is in my name. So you will be speaking to the actual owner. Not an open title like some people have.
This car is licensed and drives. I have taken it out around town on weekends.
Asking $25,000 O.B.O. Have other projects to work on including a 1936 Airflow C-10.
