Well first you need to be physically fit and relatively strong. What i mean is you need a solid build. They arent gonna take some skinny lanky dude that might have a bit of muscle on em. + Theres also the fitness tests such as beep tests..

Is it really that hard to understand? Incels have been rejected by every women they have tried to ask out. They are depressed as hell and frustrated. They blame themselves for the most part but they also put some blame on society and women for rejecting them. Do you really think someone in their situation would say "oh hey lets join the military and protect the freeeeeeeedoms of these same people who rejected me"? The military will also disqualify a lot of incels here who are suffering from depression or other mental illness when there are so many other qualified candidates. I'm not incel btw.

The things you have listed ARE what "YOU" are. If you don't have the innate potential, the genetics, at birth, you're fucked no matter how much you attempt to "improve yourself". You can think of it as "polishing a turd". It doesn't have the potential in the first place. Well yes actually it can get worse, for example I could join the military and get stuck in a shitty uncomfortable barracks being yelled at by drill sergeants and getting beaten with soap in my sleep by a bunch of dickheads who thought FMJ was the most hilarious shit ever and want to do it in real life.

On top of that I have eczema so I'm excluded from joining on that basis.

But why would this be bad? think about it like an investment. Sure you might have a bad couple of situations, but those situations will help you be stronger in the future and suffer less from depression and social isolation.

Why not be willing to have some bad times in exchange of future happiness?

How would anything in the military give me future happiness? And like I said I'm excluded on a medical basis any way so...

I don't have depression either, but even if I did how does something stressful like the military help depression, it's more likely to do the opposite.
