Sensitive Snowflakes Need a Safe Space From ‘Mean-Spirited’ SNL

video

J.D. Durkin“Snowflake” is a phrase often heard in conservative media used to slam safe space-clinging liberals (read: wimps). The Blaze’s Tomi Lahren has helped popularize the phrase in the last year, slamming the whiners who can’t have things their way.

But now, says Mediaite‘s J.D. Durkin, it’s many conservatives, including the man who is about to be President, who seem like they’re in need of a safe space to keep them protected from bullies with mean words.

Durkin’s newest video for Mediaite Originals slams the right for criticizing a late night comedy laffer that has satirized politicians for over four decades. “But science tell us that no two snowflakes are alike, and yet I’m hearing the same crybaby bullsh*t coming from the Trump team,” Durkin says.

Trump’s pick for press secretary Sean Spicer told NBC Monday, “What Saturday Night Live did on Saturday… it was not funny. It was mean-spirited.”

Durkin mocks, “Yeah you guys, that was mean-spirited… Also the President’s whining like a fu*king child.” Durkin noted that while he has been “plenty critical” of SNL for mishandling Donald Trump‘s candidacy, that’s no excuse for the Trump team to cry for a safe space in response. “The only thing funnier than SNL is the disastrously delicate response from our next President,” he says.
