The single room was very small even by Japanese standards and, though the staff were polite and helpful, the image of the hotel suffers from the presence of political literature, namely a couple of books of "revisionist" Japanese history placed in every room (along with, as is usual in Japanese business hotels, a guide to the adult channels). One has an English translation so you can read all about their take on Japan's colonial past, the attack on Pearl Harbor, and Japan's "defence" against "Caucasians". In particular, if you are American, Chinese or Korean, I recommend you stay elsewhere.
