Seeing couples everywhere makes being MGTOW difficult (self.MGTOW)

My question is, what can I do to stop idolizing romantic relationships? I see them at the grocery store, at the gym, in bars, everywhere and I can’t help but feel envy when I see them. I know I shouldn’t and I know that they all have their fights and problems when they are not in public. But everywhere you go you see them, I’m also one of the few out of my circle of friends not in a relationship. One girl I know recently asked if I had a girlfriend, which I denied. She proceeded to inquire which made me uncomfortable and she didn’t believe me when I told her that I don’t want and don’t need a relationship. But deep down I wasn’t so sure if that’s really the truth and I’m just lying to myself.

How did you overcome this urge to be in a relationship?

You see what you want to see. This is the reality behind a lot of those couples. When you see that women are like this, almost like pedophiles rationalizing acting on their urges and nobody batting an eye, you'll find that being MGTOW is easy.

What is it that you're missing?

Sex? You can buy that. Intimacy? You can have someone over for Netflix and Chill if you want to cuddle. Just don't spend any money on them :) A wife? go ahead and get married. You learn from experience

You're seeing what you want to see. There a lot more singles walking around than couples. I would suggest going to the most boring shops you can think of (womens clothes, home decor) and watch the poor bastards getting dragged around by their women. Should put you back on point. This shouldnt even bother you and it will go away in time. Go get with some girls ffs no one here said you couldnt. Just be careful and apply the things you've learned so far.

Reading women wont get easier than this and maybe you yourself will come to the conclusion that for the most part the juice is not worth the squeeze.

I see couples together and laugh to myself. You have a long way to go my friend. Just look at the interactions as the guy being a clueless victim and the female roleplaying to be able to manipulate him to her will and extract his resources be it time, attention or finances...that is pretty much every relationship.

Nothing like getting married to shatter that illusion. I used to be like you. Unfortunately I was part of a "happy" couple for over a decade. You know what? I was miserable. She spent us into literal bankruptcy, monopolized my time from morning to night, alienated most of my friends and family and I'm fairly certain she cheated on me. People would often comment on what a happy couple we were. It was all an illusion. Don't fall for it!

I get extremely irritated at breeders and their crotch spawn, these idiots feel entitled to everything and cause chaos to my serenity when I do simple things in life like buy groceries and do laundry. The men are broken, the women are harpies, and the children are rotten; don't let the happy family Christmas card photos fool you.

I also get irritated when couples hold hands or kiss in public because they are attention whoring and poisoning young susceptible minds.

When was your last relationship?.. you might also be in the NAWALT phase.. that happened to me. I thought everyone on here is just crazy and angry. Then i found a "cool girl".. she was my "NAWALT".. turns out she was just like every other girl out there.

And always remember, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Your desire stems from ignorance. Since you know nothing, you feel nothing. No dread, stress, fear etc.

Those guys are essentially hosts for a parasite. Next time you see a couple, picture the guy walking around with a large Lyme infested tick on his back!

Anyway, they all have their fair share of issues, and BS to endure. Ain't worth it.
