What she's doing is not the hardest. Her foot on the ground is moving, and she jerks her whole body up and down on every spin.

The hard part is doing it while balanced, in a more continuous way (without so much up and down movement on your upper body), and with your foot staying approximately in the same place.

And YEAH of course we make fun of fat people in the gym. They ate themselves into a hole they couldn't get out and are making the most minimal progress. If a fat person was actually devoted to working out every day, and I saw that they were sticking to their diet, I would say "Good for them, they are really trying to make a difference."

You wouldn't call a person who goes to the gym for 30 minutes to lift 2.5 pound dumbbells just to take selfies to impress their friends

Really not that impressive. Her calves look pretty weak, seeing as she can't get up on her toes consistently. Plus, she's wobbling around the floor so it's apparent she can't situate herself perfectly, but she's maintaining up/down control. Although she has decent technique with the other foot, and is consistently spinning so she's not horrible.

Pirouettes aren't dependent on your body weight, it's about where you situate your body weight. If it's not exactly over your supportive leg, you're boned. This is a pretty solid attempt at it though, with practice she'll be much better.
