Seeing this retweeted a lot tonight - https://twitter.com/Musker_LFC/status/820727752932335616 - slagging off the singing section for 'trying' to be the Kop. It's not. At all. But it does have a valid point. At United I know SEF have petitioned the club to get more flags allowed in and in the other areas of the ground you're allowed only a 1m x 2m flag. Might be smaller actually. It's wank whatever it is. If you look at the size of the flags allowed into the Kop they're fucking huge. A rough count shows maybe 3 flags the size we'd be allowed at OT. 25 that we wouldn't be allowed, especially with the wooden or plastic pole and a giant tifo flag.

It's clearly not a Premier League ruling, so it's a club one. Flags alone, like a safe standing section alone would not help to improve the atmosphere. But it would be brilliant if the club would just allow us what the scousers are allowed. We don't want a plastic flag on each seat. That's not authentic. But home-made banners and flags. The like we've seen at cup finals galore would make OT look fantastic on match day.
